2. THE JOY OF BEING SEDUCED BY THE ON-LINE SHOPPING HUNT

Ah! The seductive effects of BROWSING!

First:  imagine you are in a 100,000-square-foot retail store filled with thousands of beautiful dresses. You’re free to browse to your heart’s content. And you do! You are lost in the pleasure of the hunt and lost in the pursuit of the perfect dress.

Problem is.  After several hours, you are physically exhausted and no further ahead.

That is the retail store experience. Now imagine the on-line experience where, from the comfort of your home, you can browse through thousands of dresses, take a break and then repeat the exercise over and over again day after day.

There is no contest!  The lure of online shopping is so powerful, and once undertaken, so strangely calming, that it quickly becomes addictive.

To make matters worse, I unconsciously decided to switch from wearing leggings to dresses.  The hunt was on.

I quickly discovered there is not one perfect dress, but a series of choices to be made between spring dresses and fall dresses; summer and winter dresses and every season in between.  It is truly endless and such fun.

I was hooked, and I had not yet hit the BUY NOW button once.
